My good friend Shuting’s colleague, Sourabh, had his birthday recently, and the office wanted to get him a pressie. She suggested I could draw him with his wife and incorporate an Indiana Jones theme, since he’s a huge fan! Immediately I knew this was going to be a REALLY FUN assignment.

Is it just me or does Sourabh’s wife look like Elaine from Seinfeld in the photo below? :)

I really had fun drawing in the whip, the fedora, and the rolling boulder! I also chose to beef Indiana Sourabh up to Johnny Bravo like proportions, just for the heck of it. My only regret is not getting a better likeness: I should’ve made Sourabh’s eyes a bit smaller and further apart, and his wife’s eyes a bit more downward slanting and her nose slightly bigger.
